With more than 12 years of experience in digital health, Dr. Anand K. Iyer is one of the most respected global leaders in this space for his insights and experience on technology, strategy, and regulatory policy.  Prior to joining WellDoc in 2007, he was a partner at and led the wireless strategy practice at PRTM Management Consultants for 15 years, and was a pioneer in telematics & telemetry, RFID policy, mobile business strategy development, network engineering and economic modeling.  In 2013, he was honored as Maryland Healthcare Innovator of the year, and in 2007, as one of the top 35 global wireless executives.

He was also the founder and immediate-past president of the In-Building Wireless Alliance, and teaches advanced wireless courses to senior officers in the US Department of Defense at the Institute for Defense and Business.  Prior to joining PRTM, Anand was a member of the scientific staff at Bell Northern Research and Nortel Networks. Anand holds a MS and PhD in electrical and computer engineering, and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, and a BE degree in electrical and computer engineering from Carleton University.
